Broken Arrow Lodge (Alder)
Broken Arrow Lodge was established in 1993 and officially opened for business in 1994. Offering lodging in a home like atmosphere with home cooked meals, horseback riding, fishing, and hunting trips. You have the option of either guided or unguided fishing and hunting. With the guided fishing, enjoy float or wade fishing. The Ruby offers wade fishing, the Madison is float fishing, the Big Hole and the Beaverhead offer both. Dude Ranch vacations offer horseback riding, hiking, scenic auto tours, and fishing. The deluxe trips include tours of the historical towns of Nevda City and Virginia City and for the evening enjoy the entertainment of the Illustrious Virginia City Players. For a full back country experience , go on a pack trip. We are permitted in both the Gravelly and Snowcrest mountain ranges providing thousands of acres of area to recreate. The scenery is spectacular with the mountains, blankets of wildflowers and abundant with wildlife. We have elk, moose, deer, antelope, bear, mountain goats, big horn sheep, numerous small animals, and lots of birds.
Located in the Upper Ruby , 25 miles south of Alder. The lodge is situated on a hill with an incredible view of the beautiful Ruby valley.
