Dog & Grog 2010
The seventh annual Dog and Grog is scheduled for July 16th and 17th, 2010. The Bale of Hay Saloon in Historic Virginia City, Montana hosts this Montana Micro-brew festival featuring the best micros made in Montana. Friday night starts with the Wee Dog pint night. We’ll have $2 pints from Big Sky’s own Lone Peak Brewing starting at 7pm and Tom Susanj playing baby boom pop hits from the past, easy on the ears, fun on the feet live music at 9pm. Saturday we feature ten breweries including: Lewis and Clark Brewing, Bitterroot Brewing, Bayern Brewing, Neptune’s Brewery, Madison River Brewing, Bozeman Brewing, Lone Peak Brewery, Kettle House Brewery, Quarry Brewing and Blackfoot Brewing. Beer and music flow under the big tent next to the Bale of Hay Saloon in Virginia City, Montana. Festivities start at high noon and end at 7pm with No Cover charge! The Beat Diggers are making their first appearance playing Jive swing and bluesy rock, colored by neon lights and brewed with cajon stock, guitar’s creamy tones, a hard walkin’ bass, and a funky drummer, keeping time and space. Make sure to get there early to get our package deal, you get 8 tasters of beer, polish dog and limited edition commemorative glass. Individual beers and polish dogs are also for sale. Join us later in the bar for more music by the Beat Diggers at 9pm.
