Living History events held in Nevada City are themed interpretive weekends where each weekend event is based upon happenings in the past of Alder Gulch.

Road Agents, a gang of outlaws and murderers, terrorized miners and shippers of gold and other valuables throughout southwest Montana. Interpreters conclude the season with the myths, legends and facts surrounding this notorious gang.
